Maia's Cord Blood Miracle

One of twin girls, Maia Friedlander suffered oxygen deprivation at birth, which left her drastically developmentally delayed. Despite three years of intensive therapy, her progress was inconsistent and slow. Luckily, her family had banked Maia's cord blood with CordBank at birth.

In 2008, Maia and her family got a second chance, thanks to a ground-breaking procedure that re-infused Maia's cord blood.

A mere two days after the procedure Maia's balance began to improve, her eyes became more focused and alert, she started running and talking -- things she simply hadn't done before. Remarkably, she is now at school with her sister.
